Key stat shows why Seahawks’ Russell Wilson is an elite QB

Of course RW is an elite QB, but this try hard ass subject is why there are memes about Seahawks fans with this crap. Why? Why do you do this? Crazy: BLAH BLAH BLAH Anybody: Yes, Wilson is an elite Quarterback. Crazy: BUT DID YOU KNOW HE WAS BORN TO A UNICORN IN A MAGICAL CAVE HIGH IN THE...

How much do care about the TEAM or the individual players

When I was a kid and when I was young I liked the players, hence why I started off as Bears fan (Walter Payton) and then became an Eagles fan after he was gone when I first saw a QB that didn't run like he only had one leg(Randall Cunningham). Back then QBs were like picking teams at school or...

    LEO versus 5 -Tech

Getting Kylar Murray in the open field was Uber impressive.

    LEO versus 5 -Tech

Green had already been playing some there last year against heavy run teams. There were times when you wouldn't see Clowney on the field at all and Green at Leo and Jackson at 5T. I don't recall whether that was due to injury, rotation, or what, but I definitely remember seeing that from time to...

    LEO versus 5 -Tech

Our 5 techs are Green, Jackson, and Collier. Our Leo's are Mayowa, Taylor, and Robinson with Green having enough ability to play Leo against run heavy teams. And yes, it's all about strong side vs weak side in base defense. It's not RDE and LDE like in Madden or older, simplistic football. In...

Seahawks wanted Jordyn Brooks or Darrell Taylor got both

Sorry, I could have swore you were talking about Brooks. Queen is a no.

Seahawks wanted Jordyn Brooks or Darrell Taylor got both

Don't even get me started on Queen. You want a 229 pound backer with 31.6 inch arms dealing with NFL OL or even a FB? Really? Edit: Well, you already have BBK who actually lead all college ball in tackles. Don't understand the need there other than believing somebody like Mel frickin Kiper.

Seahawks wanted Jordyn Brooks or Darrell Taylor got both

Not why they drafted Barton. The scrambled eggs is in reference to why someone at 6' 240 with long arms would be undersized, but someone at 6'2 237 with short arms has good size for roughly the same position. It doesn't make any sense from a football or leverage aspect at all. Zero.

    KJ Wright had shoulder surgery

The Brooks pick was necessary, plain and simple, and you get a very similar player to what Wagner was coming out of college. Why the gripe?

Seahawks wanted Jordyn Brooks or Darrell Taylor got both

Please explain why you think he's undersized. They said the same thing about Wagner. FF to now and everyone knows that Wagner can stop a RB cold to save 1st downs and touchdowns at 240 pounds at 6ft for great leverage with long arms to boot. Meanwhile claiming that a guy like Keuchly had good...

What is our Super Bowl window?

You have a Superbowl window so long as you have an overall talent saturated team. If you have a QB, your chances are better, but teams almost never win Superbowls if their team emphasis is on the QB and passing game. It's a mentally unhealthy mindset. You saturate your team with talent from top...

Your ranking of the core players from the Superbowl years

Lynch Chancellor Wilson Wagner Clem Bennett Avril Sherm Earl Sherm and Earl don't mean nearly as much without a pass rush. We've all witnessed as much countless times. Give any QB time and it doesn't matter how good your coverage guys are. Clem was Uber consistent. Bennett and Avril were the...

    Your Free Agency Wish List

Re-sign Clowney Re-sign Q Jeff Sign Bud Dupree. I want to get faster and crazier with this one. He ran a 4.52 at about 270 pounds with a 42 inch vert. Runs split leg and crazy like Marshawn. Is just now coming into his own and won't cost as much as some others. Freak of nature athlete and...

    A little reflection what if?

In NFL rules, that play is called a pass broken up. Technically, in slow motion, Butler batted Kearse's right forearm just before the ball got there, but in real time, it is described as a PBU by rule. This was the dumbest discussion then and it still is. It's just a way to pass blame and avoid...

    Secondary

Shaq sucked in his sophomore season. Flowers was solid as a room and then sucked as a soph. Dunno what the hell to think about that give that Shaq had at least pro bowl alt year. Diggs is cool and all and Amadi made rookie mistakes down the stretch. The guy who I want to replace is McDougald...

Why do Hawks tend to start slow?

Not advocating that. I'm saying that we're screwed in the first half without the running game to keep it competitive. RW isn't going to save you at that point. Never has and never will. He's at his best at the 2 minute before the half and about the 2nd or 3rd drive in the 3rd quarter on through...

Why do Hawks tend to start slow?

The defense has started slow since losing all the stars basically. However, it is exaserbated by the offense that has always started out slow. The running game covers up RW early game jitters and always has. RW camps with the ball, throws high, low, etc throughout the first half until the very...

    Eagles Sign RB Holyfield

I always thought that kid should put on 20 pounds and switch to being an all purpose FB a la Mike Rob, but whatever. His choice is to continue to try and be a RB, but his career could be a lot longer at FB.
