I have seen a recurring theme from a few posters here giving out misinformation regarding the 2011 Seahawks mostly to put down Pete Carroll and put over Russell Wilson. I don't know where the misinformation is coming from, but here is evidence that the Seahawks did not have the number one scoring defense. They ranked number seven. In yards they were a respectable ninth. It was not some storied defense until our future first ball hall of fame middle linebacker Bobby Wagner took over control of the defense.
The misinformation that we had some really good rushing attack is even worse. We ranked fifteenth in attempts. We were a relatively poor twenty-first in yards. We were tenth in rushing touchdowns, which is not exactly something to hang your hat on. The offense was not very good with Jackson limited to almost always using one side of the field. The fact that we had two rookies on the offensive line and a needing to retire Robert Gallery did not help matters at all.
In the end, it seems as though the misinformation is just to push an agenda, but this site would be better off with the real information being presented.
