This guy went from being a head coaching candidate last off-season to getting fired as the OC in Houston. Didn't he interview for the Seahawks HC job last year? I wonder if he would be a candidate for our OC opening.

How old is he? Age and youthfulness are important in getting an interview for our OC opening.

He's only 37. What a tough business. From an up-and-coming HC candidate to out of a job in one year. He'll be fine. obviously.

You know Brendon Nelson is working on a YouTube video about this guy at this very moment.

"Seahawks OC candidate number 37: Bobby Slowik"

He struggled in Houston when the line was hit with injuries and we are trying to fix that very issue but I still think we should interview the guy. I also think they have their guy already and its just taking a while to announce it maybe?

MM faced him last year in the playoffs. The end result wasn't too close, but if Mike saw something that still impressed him, Slowik should get an interview (assuming we don't already have our guy and it just hasn't been announced yet).

Complete Kyle Shanahan guy. Worked for Kyle Shanahan, Mike Shanahan. DeMeco Ryans, who is a Shanahan guy.

He was REALLY bad. I don't know if we could get him as something less than OC and maybe he can grow back into it, but otherwise... no.

I hope not. He got fired for about the same reason as our OC - and he had a better QB.

I don't know much about Slowik as an OC, but the firing seems a bit rash. Their offense wasn't as good as last year's, but the Texans have a terrible offensive line, almost as bad as the Seahawks'. Outside of Laramy Tunsil, they have no one even average on their line. In addition, all three of their WRs--Stefon Diggs, Nico Collins and Tank Dell were injured.

I guess this just goes to show you that having a terrible offensive line is the best way to get fired as an offensive coordinator. A majority of the OCs with the bottom 10 O-lines are out of a job now: Bears, Seahawks, Texans, Raiders, Patriots and Saints. The OC for the Bengals, Steelers, Giants and Titans still have their jobs.

Side note: Apparently, Demeco Ryans wanted Klint Kubiak for OC originally, so maybe now that he's available, that's where he's going?

Klint Kubiak probably didn't impress Macdonald or Schneider, may be both, or he would have received an offer that he couldn't refuse.

Honestly I see Klint skipping over to Houston for their OC position if it isn't already filled.

What about the Wiz kid from Minnesota? Didn't he impress either? Maybe they're trying to land Mike McCarthy.
