His knee is gone, more than likely, which means that he is gone for the year, more than likely.

The 49ers had better just pray that Justin Smith stays healthy. That defense can work through Cully being out.

An unfortunate part of the game we love.... but every team goes through them, it's really all about mitigating, damage control, and just getting lucky...

we'll see how these injuries play out. A draftee this year, Cooper, has been getting some press... injuries do present players buried in the depth chart a shot.

As someone else pointed out. As long as Justin smith is healthy and aldon is too, that mitigates this loss. Culliver was probably the best cb behind Brown, but if they can get the pass rush back to what it was then the secondary can work through this.

Any way you slice it, it weakens them. Unless, of course, Richard Sherman is buried on the depth chart behind him.
