The draft is suddenly looking up, eh? All those folks complaining we haven't addressed the O-line can be happy we took two OL guys in the third--a tackle who can play guard, and a guard that has played tackle. Both versatile offensive line players.

I am happy. They can both move around and fill in where needed.

I think we put too much stock in versatility, we should be concentrating on oline that can play a position at a high level. Which isn't something we don't seem to prize over versatility. If these guys play well then that is great.

I think you somewhat have to include Marcus Burley into grading this draft for the Hawks and probably even Jimmy Graham.

The D is fine. Could it use more depth? Sure, and not just at DE. Our offense is broken, and it's piss poor performance throughout the post season wasn't because of injuries. Unlike the defense in the Super Bowl, it was relatively healthy.

Our offense is broken?! BWAHAHAHAHA Ok...I guess a top 10 offense that also happens to rank #1 in rushing is "broken"

Seriously, where do you people come from?!

Please, the only thing this offense is good at is rushing, and our #1 rank in the rushing offense is because of Russell Wilson running because he has no where to throw the ball or he is getting no protection And bolts from the pocket. It is like you don't even watch this teaM despite claiming to such a "smart" fan. The only thing that makes this offense work even in the slightest is Wilson's ability to avoid the rush. You fine with that? Good for you, I am not. This offense is going to get Wilson hurt, and despite how great our defense is we won't even sniff the playoffs with our back up QB. That is assuming we get Jackson back, it is even worse if it s someone else. We've already seen the differece between Jackson and Wilson.
#1 is rushing, #1 in explosive plays, #9 in total offense. Yep, not good at anything

I love both picks so far. Clark is the DE/LEO pass rusher we badly needed, and Lockett is the speed WR/KR/PR/Gunner we missed terribly all last year. Yes, OL and CB are needs, but if we'd have taken those positions first, people would still be pissing and moaning that we were neglecting DE and WR. Plenty of picks left to go, and we had by far the most in the remaining rounds of the draft than anyone else. This was the perfect opportunity to spend a few more to make the move to get the guy we wanted.

This draft wasn't splashy because we didn't have a pick in essentially the top two rounds. That's what happens when you go to the Super Bowl, and then trade our first pick for one of the top stud TEs in the league.

Through two rounds, we've acquired:

Jimmy Graham, stud TE
Frank Clark, potentially stud DE
Tyler Lockett, potentially flashy speed WR

Not too shabby at all in my book. And we still have a bunch more picks with which to address any holes in OL and CB. We're in good hands, folks.
Don't get your hopes up for Lockett playing WR. They drafted him to be a return specialist. He's too small and frail use his speed at WR--he'd get his ass beat out there. Paul Richardson demonstrated that last year. You need size to go along with speed. I think Lockett is a great pick as a return specialist.

Lockett is the same size as Antonio Brown.... Richardson has an ACL injury..nothing to do with being too small.

Hmm. He's taller and heavier than the Colts' TY Hilton.

I am disappointed that we drafted a guy that beats women

Hope he screws up and gets arrested for something stupid

I guess you were there when it happened and know all the details, we will all trust your insight into this, tell us what really happened please since we like to have the facts before we execute people that beat women or are to stupid to exist.

1) So your expertise tells you he did nothing?

2) She was bloodied

3) Her 15 year old brother said he grabbed her throat and threw her on the floor

4) He was kicked off a Michigan team that needed him

What I do KNOW is that there was enough smoke to not give him the benefit of a doubt. Also theft is 100% confirmed.

Interview w Condotta and all he will say is I put myself in a bad position.... Yeah drunk beating his gf

Your ability to hold a grudge against someone and not realize people make mistakes is disturbing.
If you even listened to the interview you'd realize he is remorseful of his actions and is truly excited to play for the Seahawks.
Your statement about hoping he gets kicked off the team is also very ignorant.

NOTHING remorseful of his actions about saying he put himself in a bad situation. NOTHING

Even when he was healthy, Richardson was getting his route disrupted being bumped coming off the line. He never used his speed. He started to come along as a WR, but not because he ever burned anybody. He's too skinny-assed to do that. If you have a video of Richardson going over the top of the defense with speed, please post it.

Gave up 3 picks, to trade spots in the 3rd....I count that as 3 picks also lol
You are 100% correct, we didn't > lose < a pick in the 3rd, just swapped with the Skins to get our pick that we really, really, REALLY wanted and needed.
IMHO, there's just too much pissing and moaning by a FEW around here about nothing.

Problem is that Lockett's a SLOT guy unless he can prove otherwise. But he's not supplanting Doug at that position anytime soon. If he does, then he forces Doug to play even more snaps out of position as outside WR -- not ideal.

JS has already basically confirmed that we drafted him to be a return specialist. We can be hopeful about his receiving skills obviously, but that is all secondary to what we drafted him for (according to the GM). For Year 1, I see him as Returner/backup slot receiver (basically an upgrade on Walters). Nothing wrong with that at all for a 3rd rounder, but outside of that, we gave up way, way too much to the Redskins to get there.

As I said is plainly obvious you don't actually watch the team. If you did you wouldn't be only vomiting the favorable stats.

^ Super Bowl win, Super Bowl loss.

Only stay that matters. Even if it was NFC championship loss the second time - HOW IS THAT BAD

You see the problems but every team has issues. Clearly ours are being overcome because the results prove it. Not stats - RESULTS

You're right, I obviously don't watch. I should base more off of one game...

The Seahawks don't care about offensive line right now..we do fine with the style of what the style of run blocking we do and Russell Wilson is better when he's flushed out of pocket anyway so they believe they have what they need and so do I. After all on paper we didn't have aoffensive line the last 2 years and made it to the Superbowl! I believe that the Seahawks are going after physical talents that they can mold better than big name guys that have played specifically well in a system. They know exactly what they are doing and if you question that then you obviously have not been paying attention the last 5 years.

Yeah, because my opinion is based on one game. You don't even have an arguement, and ignore anything that disagrees with your cherry picked stats, like how often Wilson is hurried or sacked, or how poor our passing game is. You will probably be one of the 1st people screaming about our porous offensive line if Wilson gets injured and is out for the year. I find it hilarious you actually take exception to me actually thinking the front office should put more priority on protecting the most important piece of our offense. You know because that is such an unreasonable thing to expect.
