Agreed. The window needs to shut at the same time as the rest of Europe. And the season should start later and end a week or two later. That gap before the CL final was brutal.

It made the final a bit of a dud as well. The heat and humidity didn't help, but a 3 week gap between the end of the season and the CL final? Nonsense.

Anyway, I thought Arse had a decent window. Would have been ten on ten had they brought in a competent CB instead of sideshow Bob.

I think Arse are losing a player or too as well

Liz & Mustafi alongside their forwards should lead to an average score of 3-3

They’re a shithouse team, but they were always gonna win that match.

It's the shithousery that gets me... like every time.

Done... nothing like watching Arsenal fans give a hero's welcome to a player theyve only seen YouTube clips of...

Am I the only one who cannot stand Graeme LeSeaux?

No... he's a melon.

Punditry for the Prem reminds me of a TMZ episode than a,legitimate broadcast.

The Maguire/VvD comparisons made the game unwatchable

Eh, you know you love them really.

And as for this game, I can only say, despite not having Son, Alli or Lo Celso on Saturday, it would be nice if we could keep Eriksen.

Honest question: where are Chelsea’s goals going to come from?

whole team of midfielders. ball moves well in the middle third, breaks down soon after

It will be a big struggle for them.

VARchester City.

You hate to see it.

Watching Pep celebrate with Aguero while VAR overruled their goal was fun...

City outshooting Spurs 30-3 was not, though. Is it possible they're just better than last 2 seasons?

Pellegrini and Dean Smith.. not clubs spent sheds of money on players (West Ham over last two years) and need results for the investment.

I think lampard is safe through the transfer ban, unless it gets really bad

Roberto Firmino is my favorite footballer to watch. It's not just his vision and skill. His work ethic off the ball and willingness to drive into spaces is maybe the best in the world.

You're right about Norwhich. They give it a go regardless of opponent. Great to see
