It does have sound, but the sound of the flight is louder than their voices. You can hear some things outside of the flight noise barely but the person recording it is about 3-4 rows back on the other side of the plane and I'm sure PC, MM, and JS aren't going to be blabbing loudly about anything and disturbing other passengers. I agree about the offseason part, however if something huge comes out of this....

A few thoughts:

1. Pete looked serious, had no smiles, and was intense, more importantly, the talk lasted an hour. Old man Pete was showcasing his stamina.
2. Is Pete still living in Seattle?
3. What's so immediate that Pete needs to discuss with JS and MM right there?
4. Intense and an hour, it's not the social chat with family.
5. Woolen, DK, and Geno.

High Mike, John we can really mess with everyone at the Combine, I don't have jack shit authority to pick players now, but the public will think different, I'm going to spend time with the Sanders kid, we don't want him really, Deion would be a pain in the ass, but they will link us, Tell me what ya think of Dillon, Skip likes him a lot and then Milroe, could be special. I'm about as close to 100% it was just Mike picking Pete's brain and vice versa. Pete trying to see how Mike's 1st year went with his players. What he learned, so on and so forth.

I seriously doubt there was any trade talk going on.

Good to see there is no bad blood on either side and no bridges burned.

Schneider's MO for most players, but not the must-have players: allow players to test the market then he will decide whether to match or not.

Leonard Williams was a must-have, he was extended at the first opportunity.

Geno Smith is not a must-have, Schneider hasn't said a thing about Geno's contract extension.

If Schneider releases Geno Smith, Pete will sign him immediately. Schneider knows that so he is holding on to Geno to jack up the price.

That was my deduction, there's no reason to do it in public and do it most uncomfortably unless that's the only option. Perhaps John Schneider hasn't been returning Carroll's calls?

We can all see on that video that Pete wasn't at all happy, his trademark smile was absent. I would even say that Pete looked annoyed if not pissed.

I've been looking ahead to this off-season since we hired MM knowing this year would be more reflective of our coach and GMs assessment of where our club is. Im excited to see how MM and JS are going to use the "improved synergy" to build the team going forward after watching the players in the heat of battle for a season.

Yeah, last year he was still putting the final touches on the coaching staff at Combine time. This year, he's seen what we have player-wise and will have a good concept of what we're looking for, which may or may not look like what fans want. I usually don't follow the draft very closely. I might take a peek in on it this year.

I think it has more to do with the coaches on the offensive side of the ball from last year not being completely aligned with Mike's vision. No shot at Pete at all

Pete still lives here. We were at a basketball tournament at the same time just a few weeks back. He was watching grand kids and I was watching my daughter.

This was just before the Raiders gig was announced.
