Kind of a head scratcher.. M's must feel Kyle is a no go as far as the injury goes and just getting a lefty..C/OF...Possible roster moves to unload catchers and have a lefty available?
Not all of the moves they make over the next few months will be "blockbuster" quality. There are still depth positions to cover as we move forward. 
As for Lewis, I think yes, the M's feel they have invested enough in him and haven't seen the payoff. Too bad about his injuries, but it looks like he won't be an every day OF going forward and we already have about 3 DHs on our roster, when we don't really want even 1. The team wants a rotation that uses the DH as a partial "rest" day for the starters.

Cooper Hummel looks like Mitch Haniger. Maybe they're hoping they can put him in a Haniger jersey and the fans won't notice.

Yep his knees are shot and bone on bone.
Love the guy, he’s an awesome person and is a talented hitter, but can’t play the field and can’t run the basis due to injury.
