Might get your wish in the playoffs. Also the 49ers have traditionally beat Jared Goff.
The Lions would need to be more talented and better coached to have a shot at beating SF or Philly, at the very minimum, because what they lack the most out of any top team is pedigree and seasoning in the big games (just like the Vikings were in 2017).
Anything can happen, but that's their biggest issue.
