New Playoff Format

Hell, I like the idea of a 16 team format! 4 division winners, 4 wildcard teams. Makes it more interesting and fun to me.

Agreed, especially when some of the wildcard teams are better than some (cough--NFC East--cough) division winners.

But why shouldn't playoff seeding be based on season record? Sure, winning one's division assures a playoff spot, but more losses than a wildcard team from a different division should force you to travel. Shouldn't the best teams get homefield advantage?

I've been in the 14 is plenty camp all year. But, I certainly could see extra playoff games. And the league needs to try to make up for lost revenue. Shoot, IF the league makes it thru the end w/out cancelling out games or the season? Yes please......
