Pete still wants to coach, and energetic enough to do so. The following obviously a partial list, but which team would fit Pete's current situations?

Clearly he wants to coach.

If he gets passed by this round of NFL hires, I would imagine there would be a slew of D1 schools chomping at the bit to hire him.

Anyone see he going back to "school"?

Yup, Chargers would be ideal. They have a qb and a Bosa

Plus, he's a GOD there. Remember he was the face of Southern California football (not USC, the region) when there was no pro team. The Trojans were "showtime". That's why there is so many SoCal Seahawks fans.

I think he would help put butts in seats and garner revenue for a team that no one really cares about. Spanos is such a cheap ass, he could jump at the chance to make a buck.

Sorry to be the wet rag, but you must ask, who would want him? He's 72 or whatever, and has not produced in a decade. Just asking... NOt to mention, he left USC in shambles when he left due to the sanctions. Not sure they love him there.

They absolutely do love him. Have you seen USC Twitter? They worship the dude.

Nope, sorry if I am wrong. Do you think they want him back??
I know that a bunch of USC fans want him back even over Lincoln Riley right now, which is kinda crazy.

The Chargers, though... they hardly have fans to begin with. Pete's a proven culture guy. He'd put some butts in seats.

No clue. Probably depends on the HC hire. I could see some of the guys with Pete ties being into it.

We did average almost 5 yards per carry in the single season he was our run game coordinator before he got the Arizona job offer. He's proceeded to do awesome things at Arizona.
Who is "we"?

Don’t see the Raiders listed but they are also close to Southern Calif. They also need a new QB. Maybe he and Wilson re-unite.

Doubt Carroll wants to deal with the owner of that franchise. He wouldn’t have much freedom there.

And you would be wrong. He’s very much beloved at USC. The sanctions were not caused by Pete.
