Pete Carroll 69 and counting

According to Ian Rapaport Pete Carroll currently intend to coach through his NEXT contract. His NEXT contract is expected to be for another 5 years.
Maybe in that time we can ID a promising up and comer to hire as an assistant?
Or maybe by then Russ will decide a second career as an NFL coach would be an exciting challenge...

But... wait, that cannot be! The wisdom of several posts have said Pete cannot or will not be here much longer.

Now, maybe that was some kind of personal wish. Maybe those posters think they're prophets.

If and when Pete steps down Schotty will be the guy. Actaully he might get hired by the Chargers this offseason.

Well lets wait and see, it was going to be Richard, then Cable, Then Bevell. Pete seems to outlast them all.

My vote is to some how get Eric Bieniemy. Couldn’t imagine our offense under him.
