From his post-game press conference.

Please don't be anything serious again.

yeah, you tear the ligaments in your toe and lets see you go out and run all over the damned place...hopefully it's not torn again or anything.

If Pete says his toe was a little sore we can only assume Okung is being prepped for surgery to remove his leg.

You do know Okung was out for several weeks with turf toe, right? It could be that he re-aggravated it as that is somewhat common with that type of injury.

Oh good grief he is not a tight end he's a freaking tackle. his job is pretty much to be large and get in the way. Look these guys better realize if they blow this shot they may never get another. This team needs to have a sense of urgency. When you are this close you play through it if you want that ring. We don't need guys who don't want it.

It was a knock on Pete's coach speak, not Okung's injury history, haha

I hope Mr Fine China can play next week. Kearse and Tate looked dinged up as well.

McQuistan v Robert Quinn Part II: The Quarterback Mauling

I don't think we can overestimate how serious things would be if McQuistan had to play LT again against Robert Quinn. Quinn will make today's offensive performance look like a juggernaut compared to next week if he faces anyone other than Okung.

This one single matchup could sway the odds of us winning the game (and thus locking up HFA and making the SuperBowl) by 20% or more.
