So about 2 years ago I think most Seahawks fans saw RW as a guaranteed HOFer. Well his last two seasons with the Broncos have been what they are. Curious how people feel now about RW's end of career probability of getting into the HOF?
A lot of unlimited things...In the big picture, other than the SB.. what has he done?
Not a lot.In the big picture, other than the SB.. what has he done?
Had he won the "hand it off" SB.. he may have had a chance.. but really after that it was a mediocre team that was ok to make the playoff, but never really good enough to be a SB contender.A lot of unlimited things...
Well, if we are going by the Deion standard of 'real dogs' then it's safe to say that-With the way the HOF has become watered down over the years, sure there's a chance he gets in. It would probably take a good long while, though, if he did.
I have a higher standard for who should qualify for the HOF. Deion Sanders talks a bunch about a need for an upper room in the HOF for the real HOFers. Asked how such a thing would be decided, he says the players know who the real dogs were.
So yeah, IMO if he gets in it's because the parameters for getting in have stretched wide enough.
