I dunno how the claim would work if the Chiefs hadn't put the claim in. SInce the Saints haven't played yet, do they get the next option? Seahawks because they were 5 seed last week? Niners because they are the 5 seed now?

I don't know what the order was, and I don't know if we'll ever find out, but I'm not surprised so many top teams claimed him. Who wouldn't benefit from using him even if only as a specialist rusher for the playoffs? Shame that KC got him. Would have loved seeing teams try to defend him and Clowney at the same time.

If they do it based on playoff tie breakers, the 49ers. If they use last season's finish as a tie breaker, the 49ers. If they do it based on Strenth of Schedule, probably the Saints.

If by playoff tiebreakers, yes Niners NOW...but he was released last week before this weekends games. Thats what has be confused.

Guess it doesn't matter tho as he's a Chief who will likely never suit up as a Chief.
