Holding on the Chargers as Ekler picked up the first.

What a bs call.

19 penalties so far in the game, 10 against the cowboys. The refs pretty much stink, but at least they stink for both teams.

I have the game on in the background, wouldn't be able to actually watch it.

Man, the cowboys offense.....Pollard has run 14 times for 30 yards. They keep running it up the gut and getting stopped for minimal gain.

I was actually expecting the LA Football Clippers to win. Mostly because of Herbert vs Dak. Oh, well.

LA is a joke of a town for the NFL. Sure it's a big juicy market the NFL covets, but LA is NOT a football town. Never has been, never will be. Even when the Rams won the Super Bowl a few years back it's not like LA became a rabid Rams town.

This is why both Rams and Chargers home games are filled with the opposing team's fans.

Too much other shit to do in the Greater LA region. 🤷‍♂️

For the past 6-8 years, I've made a point to make a trip to Las Vegas on an NFL Sunday. Everyone, including casino employees, wear their "colors." It's cool, because the jerseys tell everyone where you're from, and I get a chance to talk to guys from around the nation. Without a doubt, the most seldom seen jerseys in Vegas are the Chargers and Rams even though they are the two teams that are closest to Las Vegas....well, except now for the Raiders.

It’s all about the almighty dollar. The NFL bent over backwards to get a team (or teams in this case) back to LA. Problem is, no matter how much money you throw at it (that stadium is a wonder), you can’t force fan loyalty. That’s a priceless commodity that only happens organically.

I wish the Rams stayed in St Louis and the Chargers in San Diego but I get there were issues for both clubs in those locations as well.

Vegas is trying to become Raiders Centric, and another great new stadium for sure but they too have to deal with 70% opponent team’s fans nearly every home game for similar reasons.

And while I’m on the topic, what is up with Falcons fans? I swear every time I tune into an Atlanta home game via RedZone it seems like half the stadium is empty.

🤔
