ESPN reports that the league presented a slide titled: "Brady -- Broadcast Restrictions," to owners during league meetings in Minneapolis. Here are some of the rules:

  • Not permitted to be in another team's facility
  • Cannot witness practice
  • Cannot attend broadcast production meetings (in person or virtually)
Broadcasters receive all of this access when preparing for their matchups. It enhances the overall product of the telecast. Brady would be denied these benefits. Other staff at FOX will not have these limitations.

I'm interested in what constitutes a broadcast production meeting. For example, is he not allowed to attend all production meetings or just those involving team personnel? The latter is somewhat reasonable, but the former is ridiculous—like, does the NFL want Brady to show up on Sunday without any knowledge of the broadcast or what his producers will emphasize?

The owners are trying to force him out of his ownership bid.

If he had no ownership stake this wouldn't even be a thing, but it's still overreaching petty BS IMO.

He maybe the GOAT but he still has a history of (let’s call it) bending the rules for his teams to win. What makes anyone think he wouldn’t use that inside information for his teams advantage? He can’t have it both ways. He needs to either be an owner or a broadcaster.

He's a proven cheater with multiple offenses. Why would he stop now?

I'm not so sure .

If Brady has even the slightest minority stake in an NFL team, he is technically the enemy.

Look at his past. Deflated balls , filmed walk throughs,
Stolen signs . He learned from
The Evil Hoodie.

Honestly I wish he would just go away.

And take Mahomes with him.

In a lofty place tanglin' with Satan over history.

Precisely this. I honestly feel like this is something that THE BADGE got right, for once!
