Hawks keep Neal in at Safety when Adam returns and...

Adams plays a hybrid LB/Safety, taking over Bartons LB position. Adams can then, free lance to where the play is directed.. front, LB back where ever. Be an upgrade over Barton.

Just a thought.

What I've seen from Neal says it's gonna be hard to keep him off the field. He's involved in darn near every play in some way. He's like having another Adams! I'm not really worried about him not getting PT. He's too good to sit.

Isn't that exactly what Arizona did with that hybrid player they had?. Seemed effective to me.

Keeps Neal in the game
Keeps Barton out of the game
Lets Adam be Adam.

This is NOT.....

a bad idea....

Neal's been balling. He looks hungry.
Let Adam's float and read..imo, he's the best in the league at this.

The more I think about this the more I like it.

Deone Buchanan was the Cardinals "flex"; seemed to work pretty well for a while with him anyway.

Wasn't this how we were going to use Adams when we had Blair?

It sounds like we can go with almost Plan A using Neal.

I would like to see Shaquem and Adams in on the same sets of passing downs, coming from different sides. We would be susceptible to the run but who cares? On 3rd and longs, it should be a good strategy.

Kind of odd that Neal could not make it off the Cowboys PS considering how solid he has been for us.

But Adams and Neal on the same field should be a given.

Scheme and assessment of talent and letting them use it. Lots of teams have that issue.

We have had it with O lineman.
