This just in, the new OC for the Seattle Seahawks is long time Pete Carroll friend and confidant, Grete Darroll.

Strangely enough the two have never been seen in the same room at the same time.

Most promising candidates are still out there. Waldron, Dorsey, Hamilton, pipe dream Nathaniel Hackett, Luke Getsy... those guys run true contemporary offenses, and that's the type of guys they've been most connected to.

This is beginning to look like another short run OC gig to me, and I'm not talking about a 3 yards and a cloud of dust thing. I'm talking about one year of regress is the limit thing.

I know the Chargers are on an uptick, but it seems like Lombardi didn't take much time to explore his options.

Can't wait for the Schefter breaking news that Tom Cable has been signed as new Seahawks OC.
