Can we pull Rex Ryan out of retirement or maybe his brother Rob would work? Don’t know.

Well, if we cant get Fangio himself, I suppose having Fangio's DC wouldn't be too shabby.

Nice connection! I've been thinking how great it would be to get Fangio as an upgrade from KNJ.

Pete is going after more familiar friends. It'd be a great hire if he got the hell out of Donatell's way.

I want to see other candidates, like Fangio or ???, but not failed prior incumbents. Curious about Donatelll, but don’t want the team to rush here. Pete needs some fresh thinking.

Get Fangio, and let Pete know he will be the next head coach starting in 2023, and the defense will be HIS baby. Take it or leave it, and Fangio will be head coach starting at the draft.

Why Fangio for HC? His Denver units weren't exactly impressive. And his style doesn't seem to compliment the high-energy culture we have now, which has been replicated across the league. Maybe I'm wrong?

DC? Sure.

Donatell seems to be better scheming to stop the pass, than the run. If we go that route, I think it would be smart to have him paired with a sharp DL coach. But Donatell would likely have the freedom to bring in his own crew..

........................... the media and forum are, at the moment, largely ignoring the release of Andre Curtis
Defensive Passing Game Coordinator. That's a need that for which interviews must be conducted as well.

This shows Pete lack of ability to change. He won’t interview Vic because Vic may question a thing or two about our defense. Pete would rather hire a friend who knows to to say anything against Pete and just go with the flow.

The dude went from 2000 to 2006 as a DC then never held the job above DB coach until 2019. No thanks, good DCs can always find a job.

Building an interview list is the beginning of a process. There are at least two positions to be filled that must complement each and work very well together. Fit is important.

Interview requests are just the beginning of putting together a staff. It makes sense to anticipate additional interview requests.

Passing game coordinator may be filled from within as a promotion, Pete has layers of aides and assistants to these guys brought in to learn the ropes.

I have no idea who is the right guy to hire, I just hope its not a "Liberty Mutual mild Mutch" type of a guy out to break his own record. If Bradly or Zimmer is available I'd like to see somebody with truely a great talent rather than a "mild Mitch".
