Josh Gordon

It's been 2 months since Gordon applied for reinstatement. Does anyone have any kind of news on this. I can't find anything?

No new information. LaCanfora just tweeted a short interview where Russ talks up both AB and Josh Gordon. Sounds like Russ is really pulling for JG, personally and professionally.

If yer curious, that's 49ers Passing Game Coordinator Mike McDaniel. They were together with Kyle Shanahan in Cleveland.

Possibly...and that's what a number of Niners fans and Bay Area sports media make of it.

I have no idea.

Niners have issues keeping their WR in practice, but most of the guys they are signing are no more than depth and camp legs.

Deebo, Aiyuk, Bourne, Taylor and Pettis are all likely to make the team. At some point Richie James will be back from broken wrist in offseason.

So Tavon Austin, Kevin White and others are just camp bodies....maybe? Then you add Gordon? Where would he fit?

I know the new rules will allow 6 vets on the practice squad as essentially Covid insurance. I would imagine Gordon would be able to find a spot on some teams active roster if not as a starter.

Dunno.

Availability is Gordon’s only real issue. Absent that is there a team in the league he isn't top three on the chart?
