The sad day was the day each of the people who do things like that got involved with horses and horse racing. That they have been caught is a happy day from my point of view. I'm certain there are a lot more than the 28 they collared on this occasion, but it's a start.
It riles me even after revealing their transgressions the media. and even the racing industry continues to call them "horsemen". They are not horsemen. They are liars, cheaters, criminals who in no way were putting the wellbeing of the horse first priority.
It is a black eye for the sport I love and depend on, but I consider this development to be great news. I hope they keep the purge going because I know these 28 just scratches the surface.
