Tush Push: our new short-yardage norm?

If we're so predictable on 1st and 2nd down, maybe we should make it work for us?

Malik McDowell's effect on draft considerations

It's so subjective though. My point is -- even the lowest "acceptable" red flag threshold (barring mental illness) can hypothetically be turned around. Regardless of how much data is gathered, what's to prevent a counter-argument of: "Our locker room can turn their character concerns into a...

Malik McDowell's effect on draft considerations

I hope this is reasonable to put into it's own thread. If not, please put it in the other threads... but I'm just very curious about the the "no-more-red-flag-players" policy can actually play. Maybe it just results in self-inflicted mind-games, but it's fun to speculate. Basically, I'm curious...

Where's the Duane Brown love? Helped shove Carson forward at the end of the play-- Carson would never have otherwise crossed the plane.

    Britt vs. Lewis: Practice Reps

I'm just curious if anyone knows the ratio of practice reps that have been given to Britt and Lewis over the course of training camp and the immediate projection of practice reps going forward. I'm not really keen on these specifics in general and am curious if people would agree or disagree...

What Makes an Elite NFL Quaterback? - NFL Network

Wilson rarely had the opportunity to demonstrate whether he can or cannot manipulate the pocket because he rarely had a pocket. Not sure of the point of saying that someone can't do something just because they have not demonstrated it..

Of course they want Slauson you podgy jackrabbit jiggery-poker.

Bears release 30-year-old OG Matt Slauson

You need 53 players on your roster, and paying league-minimums for non-core guys allows us to pay more for players we want more. Kearse is an exception to this case. And the difference between Kearse contract and league-minimum contract could help pay for Slauson, hypothetically.

Bears release 30-year-old OG Matt Slauson

The non-core players you listed were signed for peanuts. Kearse had a three-year 13.5 million dollar contract. You are comparing apples to oranges.

Bears release 30-year-old OG Matt Slauson

All I'm saying is Kearse feels more like a luxury pick compared to core re-signings -- and luxury picks affect the small amount of cap space we have. Face it, fellas. If we don't sign Slauson, we can all comfortably blame our beloved homegrown WR
