Is Geno throwing behind everyone tonight?

looks like he's consistently throwing behind people, leaving yards out on the field, endangering receivers, risking interception, etc.

    UW RB: Kamari Pleasant

Is anyone a fan of Kamari Pleasant from Washington? I haven't found much on him. One site had him #73 RB in the draft ('6th Round'). In a game during 2020, he looked like a 'next level' player. But that was just my off-the-cuff observation.

Maybe Pete should go back to square 1

Trade Russ Load up on 3, read option QBs with great arms. (so you can consistently run read option and throw deep) With the money saved from trading Russ, really improve the running game, and the defense. Go back to the style of the 2012-2014 teams which were great D, running with read option...

Griffin Brothers on the late Sack

despite all of the ups and downs of the season, that sack with the 2 Griffin brothers was a great moment in sports... imo

Colts have 101 Million Cap Space

they were pretty good last season. maybe all of that money, if spent well, will put them over the top as an afc contender.

Could you play a one-on-one scheme on an NFL defense?

With this scheme, there would be 5 pass rushers opposite the 5 o-linemen. a qb shadow, all skill players covered/shadowed 1/1. everyone is responsible for just one guy. Would it work?

Should the Seahawks sign Foles.. er Bortles?

Is Foles still available? What if they could sign him cheap and he could interface with russell? would be the best 1-2 qb depth in the league.

    Run Game Tactics and Personnel

the seahawks should work to improve o-line and rb depth. at running back, i'd say go with carson and penny, and scarborough. Also, bring in 2 bigger 'fullback' types... the kind of guys where you know they'll at least get 2 yards whenever it's needed, regardless of the defense. Speaking of...

    Patriots at Kansas City Chiefs

i think kansas city should attack on d, and also expect the mahomes-led offense to score 35-42 points.

Andrew Luck has a big-time arm.

was watching the colts at houston highlights. luck has a great arm. russ is better, but luck can be amazing. watching highlights early on, he's hitting mostly short to intermediate, and i'm thinking his throws are all 'rifled' with a low trajectory. then, later in the game he starts throwing...

    Move Ifedi to Guard

I believe in Ifedi, just not so much as a tackle, but as a guard. Apparently, Ifedi hasn't shown the footwork needed to play tackle. But with his strength, at guard, he could be a 'road grader' on running plays. Plug somebody else in at tackle, and move Ifedi to guard.

Pitch and Catch Downfield -- Going Big at WR/TE

Trying to hit downfield doesn't bother me. But, it looks like we might have the wrong wideouts/TE for this tactic. If they want to keep slinging the ball downfield, they would be better with 4 Joe Jurevicius or Marcell Reece types, over what they've got now. It's not speed and separation that...

    Nelson Agholor

Well, he's not on the Seahawks, but he just played against the Seahawks, and looked like a great player, actually. It was cool to see an x-Husky doing so great; but even better to see Seattle win. EDIT: It wasn't Devin Aguilar from the Huskies. Actually, #13 for the Eagles was Nelson Agholor, a...

Seahawks are going to be in the mix.

i think this team is going to be great. my prediction is that several of the defensive rookies will see playing time. the rookies will make some mistakes, but they'll be good the rest of the time. with the rookies, and the veterans, this defense is loaded. we're loaded at rb, plus prosise...

It's not how you start, but how you finish.

from the standpoint of within a single game, i actually don't totally agree with this. in my opinion, a better single-game motto would be something like, 'get on top, stay on top' or 'pedal to the metal, 100%'. but from the point of view of an overall season, now is the perfect time to put this...

    On the Kam Interception

did kam fool kaep on that play? it looked kind of like kam saw it all the way from the pre-snap.

    Keys to the Game

i just realized that this is one of the 4 biggest games the seahawks have ever been in. main key: can't have any blocked punts. all punts need to be successfully kicked.

    Keys to the Game

offense: 1) be able to run the ball 2) take care of the ball 3) russell punishes the blitz/pass game effective defense: 1) neutralize graham 2) take away the run 3) get turnovers we beat new orleans before, without being able to run the ball. if we open up the run game, and with the passing...

    Bears at Packers

bears 4-3, packers 5-2... kind of a must win for the bears. a bears win would put the nfc north in a 3-way tie between bears, packers, and lions all at 5-3 for first place. packers win and they remain in sole possession of 1st at 6-2.
