You're Robert Cooper ?
Born, but adopted, so no longer.

However, my dream would have been twenty-four years before this Robert Cooper, and my destroyed ankle in my freshman year never allowed it to happen.

I am really pulling for this kid. Someone has to live my dream of playing DT for Florida State, then going on to play for the Seahawks. It might as well be someone who has my birth name.

Very cool. I hope the 2nd Cooper makes you proud.

ECU is in the same conference as University of Cincinnati, UCF, SMU, University of Houston, Tulane. It’s not a Power 5 conference but some of schools have had loads of success in recent years.
Yeah, I made that comment proactively anticipating that someone else would have, but it wasn’t fair as it unnecessarily downplays his abilities — and a conference that has produced players like Sauce Gardner doesn’t really warrant a disclaimer.
Kid is accurate and can ball.

One that I m surprised by not getting drafted is...OLB /EDGE Andre Carter III. back in late Feb/23.....most mocks had him going in 2nd or 3rd rounds. Freak athlete at 6' 7"
1 thing to remember mocks are not done by NFL GMs or scouts they are more for entertainment. The only game I saw Carter III play in was the Army/ Navy game and to say I was underwhelmed would be an understatement. I can see why he went undrafted

Jonah Tavai is a good get.
He lined up all over the place, splitting snaps between A-gap, B-gap, over tackle, and outside.
12 sacks and 46 pressures in 2022 with a 22.4% pass rush win rate.
I think he makes the team as a situational interior pass rusher.

That’s what jumped out at me too (other than the fact that he’s a fellow lefty!).
Jim Zorn, Brock Huard, Holton Ahlers. Am I forgetting any other Seahawk Southpaw QBs?
Maybe they got him to prepare for our next years 1st round pick, QB Michael Penix, also a lefty…

So.. are any of these signings notable.. did we get someone, anyone that was overlooked? Are there grades for UDFA's?
