Nothing official yet, but some stuff on Snacks from coach: https://www.seahawks.com/news/encouragi ... ry-updates

"Mone's injury could very well mean that veteran defensive tackle Damon Harrison makes his Seahawks debut. Harrison, also known as "Snacks," signed to Seattle's practice squad last month but the Seahawks have brought him along slowly as the two-time Pro-Bowler worked himself into game shape. Carroll said last week that Harrison was ready, it was just a matter of fitting him into the defensive line rotation, so Mone's injury could be what opens the door for that to happen.

"He's available, he's ready to go," Carroll said. "The way it looks—we've got to have some more information on Bryan's situation so we can take care of him—but this is where Snacks would jump up right now. This is what he's been looking for and preparing for."

Surprised it took this long to get him going...assuming he's actually gonna go for us come game time.

BIG guys like Harrison find it harder to round back into shape after long periods of inacivity. He probably wasn't lifting much more than his fork sftrr Detroit released him and admittedly had lost interest in playing until Seattle convinced him to giv it a go again.

i hope he's now ready to be the interior force he used to be. While I don't expect a great deal from him individually in the pass rush he will push the mid-line which msy help the edge rush find a QB made uncomfortable in the pocket. things could hardly get worse.

Neiko sure didn't last long. That's a drag. Sounds like we get Hyde back for Thursday, but Carson questionable. Dallas and Collins available. I found Collins play last week to be very palatable. Hopefully our running game can create enough smoke so Russ's game can mirror earlier success.

Neiko is an exceptional ST player but he has spent a great deal of time injured over the last three seasons and I suspect will be done here after this year unless he does a vet min type deal.

Don't understand why the team went away from the run other than they got behind early again against the Rams and then were pressing which of course doesn't help RW much with play action as the opponent just ignores the run threat and keys on RW.

The running game has been missing for a few games now and it's absence is putting too much pressure on RW to constantly have to pull rabbits out of his hat, and when he can't puts pressure on the D and the D is playing poorly. Hardly a recipe for success.

Seahawks add Snacks and Bo Scarbrough off PS for tonight's game. Place Dunbar on IR and sign Jayson Stanley to the 53 to add another cornerback. So, Dunbar out at least 2 more games after tonight.

By rule both Scarborough and Harrison revert to the PS and for Harrison to comeback up he'd need to be formally made part of the 53 man roster.

It's likely that Scarborough will be IR'd next week from the PS which sucks as he played well and very physically.

Thanks Kitsap!!!

I suspect we might see some other formal moves before playing the Eagles. Anticipated will be TE- Olsen to IR, possibly Bo Scarborough as well, then DT- Harrison formally to the 53.

The team will as well see the returns of Pocic, Griffin, and Carson which will help a great deal.

Updated.

The Seahawks made a series of roster moves on Monday, including signing DT Damon "Snacks" Harrison to the active roster and moving TE Greg Olsen (foot) to injured reserve.

Harrison was signed to the Seahawks' practice squad in October before playing his first game in Week 10 against the Rams. He played again last Thursday against the Cardinals, picking up his first tackle as a Seahawk. After two games up from the practice squad, it looks like Snacks is here to stay.

Olsen left Thursday's win with what Pete Carroll described as a "fascia tear" injury. In 10 games this season, Olsen leads all Seahawks tight ends in catches (23) and receiving yards (224). The earliest he would be eligible to return is in three weeks, but Olsen's recovery and injury severity will determine whether or not that is possible.

In addition, the Seahawks moved two members of their practice squad to injured reserve, running back Bo Scarbrough and tight end Stephen Sullivan. Scarbrough made his Seahawks debut against the Cardinals on Thursday, rushing for 31 yards before exiting with a hamstring injury. Sullivan, a 2020 seventh-round pick from LSU, has played one game this season in Week 8 against the 49ers.

The Seahawks also signed C Brad Lundblade to the practice squad on Monday. Lundblade went undrafted out of Oklahoma State in 2018 and has spent time with the Seahawks, Bengals, Panthers and Jets. The Seahawks also re-signed CB DeMarkus Acy to the practice squad this past Saturday.

Apparently both the Packers and the Ravens tried to sign Harrison from the PS but he wanted to stay here and was signed to the 53. That move was anticipated as Olsen’s injury and transfer to IR opened a roster spot. There are still two open slots on the PS.

We now get to have more “Snacks”.
