'Storian, No worries! It's all good!

Keeping this stuff accurate is often a process. In the end the goal is to be right and complete. I'm always ready to be corrected and your input is consistently reliable.

Seahawks Sign OT Chad Wheeler Off Practice Squad; Elevate LB Ray-Ray Armstrong

@Curtis_Crabtree
The Seahawks have promoted tackle Chad Wheeler from the practice squad with Jamarco Jones out and Cedric Ogbuehi questionable. Linebacker Ray-Ray Armstrong has been elevated from the practice squad for tomorrow's game.

Wheeler was promoted as he's been a call-up twice already.

Thanks Kitsap!!!

Looks as if the team has issues with depth at OT, one of the other OTs appears to be likely to be put on IR next week.

The problem with OTs may be a large part of the failure of the OLine to protect Wilson, wasn’t much enthused by what we saw of Wheeler last week.

2 open PS spots.

Updated.

He’s been unfortunately unavailable quite often. I’m more concerned about Shell and hope he is not out long as his protection is better than any of the others.

NFL transactions show Seahawks DL Damontre Moore's suspension for using performance-enhancing drugs is now over. Seattle for the moment has an exemption for him to go back on the roster --- he doesn't count against the 53 for now.

But to play again, Moore will have to go on the 53-player roster.

Sometimes teams will release a PS player because it give that player a better chance to land elsewhere without being bound to the 3 week rule.

Gotta make sure we have a spot picked out for Gordan so he's available to bring up to play. He made a difference in games last year. We need all the difference makers we can muster. Our last 3 reg season games are like murderer's row.

Olsen perhaps this weekend as well, followed by Gordon next weekend and maybe Dunbar too.

The team is slowly beginning to start to return to full strength at the right time. Fingers crossed.

I read Penny and D. Moore are up for tomorrow. Really excited to see Gordon and Dunbar available next week, although I like Reed at corner just as much as Dunbar.
OK, it's mostly Gordon I'm really excited about... :) although I don't expect him to have a prominent role right outa the gate. But he did leave a mark on the Rams last year. Time for a renewal of that budding tradition!

Thanks Appy!!!

Here’s the announcement from the team:

https://www.seahawks.com/news/seahawks- ... ntre-moore

Penny and Moore to the 53, Homer and Jones to IR.

Updated.

I'd expect a few more moves next week adding Gordon and possibly Olsen, Haynes to IR along with Randall, Boone added to PS and a cut there. The team will look different and potentially stronger at the end of the season to that fielded on opening day.

Interesting that there was no PS elevation this week. There will be several roster moves this week as players return from IR, and suspension.

i remain concerned with the OLine and expect them to add Boone to the PS for the playoff run. we could see the returns of Olsen, Gordon and Dunbar and potentially Flowers the following week. The team could have the strongest roster all season going into the playoffs.

Josh Gordon Added To Seahawks Roster, Penny Hart Waived
Josh Gordon, who is eligible to return from his suspension this week, was added to the 53-man roster.

Josh Gordon is eligible to return from suspension this week, and the Seahawks are hoping he is able to contribute right away.

Gordon, who was suspended last December for violating the league's policies on performance enhancing drugs and substances of abuse, was added to the 53-man roster from the Exempt/Commissioner Permission list on Monday, and will be able to practice when the team hits the field on Wednesday.

"We've got to get him on the practice field and see what he looks like," Seahawks coach Pete Carroll said. "He's been working out really hard—I've been able to watch his workouts on video a couple times here to see that he's in really good shape. He's really big and strong too, so we're excited to see how he does. We're planning the week like he has a chance to contribute, so we'll see. We'll hold out a good hope and thought and see where it fits."

Hopefully Hart clears waivers and gets back on the PS, but at this point in the year teams are snagging prospects any chance they get.
