Because they're in Seahawks' colors! This is hilarious. BART trolling 9ers fans.

Not exact colors, but damn it's close enough.

They've even started a petition to get it changed. Haha.

A few 49ers fans have also noticed and are trying to do something about it. One fan even started a Change.org petition asking BART to change the colors of the seats.

Here's what the petition says:

To: Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), General Manager Grace Crunican

Please refrain from outfitting the seats in BART cars in neon green and blue, the colors of the NFL's Seattle Seahawks (as per the picture on BART.gov).

Was this an accidental mistake or a conspiracy at the highest levels of BART?

Probably the first one, but it's worth noting that BART general manager Grace Crunican was the Director of Seattle's Department of Transportation before taking the BART job in 2011.

Could Grace be the greatest troll ever?

If they don't change the colors, Aldon Smith has threatened to bomb the trains. Too soon?

No, he threatened to get bombed, then drive through to the train.

Eh, it's not even Hawks colors. I mean, the colors clash and are almost universally acknowledged as ugly, but beyond that, I don't see it. ;)

SF's faith is being tested. If they don't win the Owl this year, I have a feeling raider jersey sales go up 100% in 2015.

I bet raiders jerseys are already starting to sell. Its been a very bad offseason for the digits and with that mentally fragile/soft fanbase I'm sure those old Raider jerseys are going to come out of niner fan closets in droves if the digits have an off year this year.

Well, becoming a Raider fan is no way to go. Maybe they'll just capitulate and become Seahawk fans. Rooting for a franchise that has actually won something in their lifetimes might be a good move for them.
