So far, our defense has improved steadily, our special team is consistent, our offense regressed some.

The defense has really been climbing the charts. If the offense can start clicking in the red zone, we could be looking at a possible top 5 offense and defense.
You are oh so right Kid, Injuries to Cross & Lucas + a constant shuffling on O-Line after game one has presented a REAL CHALLENGE to the Continuity that Geno and his Offense were trying to establish at the beginning of the season, i'ts been a hell of a side-tracking refit for both Geno, and Waldron.
I am Hoping that getting Lucas back HOPEFULLY pretty soon, along with the Seahawks new weapons on Offense, & with the veteran leadership of Lockett, DK, Fant, & the other Tight-Ends, Geno can overcome his bone-headed-Try-Too-Hard & settle down some.

This is great to see, now we have to see if they can keep it up with the tougher schedule coming up.

Panthers 0-6
Giants 2-4
Bengals 2-4
Cardinals 1-6

7 out of the next 8 games are going to be tough. IF we can win at least 3 of those games, we have a shot at the wildcard.

The Hawks O is steadily improving 3rd down efficiency rate.

Vs Giants 3 for 12.
Vs the Bengles 5 for 12.
vs the Cards 7 for 13

Redzone is not much improvement

vs Giants. 2-4 50%
Vs Bengles. 1-5 20%
Vs AZ. 1-3 33%

I think Pete is going to play Pete ball to reel things in a bit I think he did that vs AZ I expect him to do that vs the Browns.

I don't believe that the Hawks O is regressing I think they are getting better very slowly

Proof of the pudding will be in the eating.

This is the real season starting Sunday.

We'll either rise to the occasion... or... not...

I’m just enjoying that even with all the injuries and RZ struggles on Offense this team is 4-2, currently tied as the 4th best team in the NFC, top 10 in the NFL, and statistically look much better overall and perhaps deeper on paper than they did last year with every facet able to hold each other at times when one has struggled in all but one game.

With the D/ST playing up and beyond my expectations, they obviously need to figure out the offense. I see two scenarios leading to that success:

1. The O-line stabilizes, gets healthier, and is able to sustain itself enough to gain traction and chemistry paving way to more explosive success in the run game and deep passing game being able to play off each other with Geno and Waldron figuring out a way to get every involved without forcing it.

2. Everyone takes a step back especially all the hungry skills players. They stop catering and forcing the decision making processes from both Waldron and Geno trying to get everyone involved and eating. They scheme around their inconsistent Oline, they maximize what is working for them, they maximize the players that are hot in the moment and they keep feeding them the bulk of the opportunities.

The impending 5-game gauntlet (LAR, SF, DAL, SF, and PHI) starts November 19th, which gives us three games (CLE, BAL and WAS) to work out the kinks of our RZ offense, our 3rd down efficiency and getting the O-line healthy and solidified.
So...what do you think our record will be in those eight games? 4/4? 5/3? 6/2? Or... I shudder to think about doing better than that! At least until next year. I think we're going to be ready to kick A$$ next year.

On the other hand, 9ers will face Bengals which is arguably a better team than Vikings. Follow with a bye, then Jaguar. again a better team than Vikings. 9ers should be able to handle Bucs, In four weeks, they will face two good QBs, 2-1 is entirely possible, 1-2 isn't impossible?

Then they (6-4) at will meet us (7-3) :)

There is a good chance the Hawks lose this game. What does that mean? What it means is, one step Back and two steps forward. It's doesn't mean the Hawks are done! Regroup learn from the mistakes and go forward.
That's ALL it means.

Best guess... 5-3... making our record 9-5.

That's almost too much to hope for... but 8-6 would be VERY good as well... with three games to go.

I believe that 11 wins will win the NFCW.

We won't lose this week. In that, I am confident.
