I like them. Doolittle wasn't Hiroshima/Nagasaki.

I also like that the Air Force isn't backing down or apologizing for something that they shouldn't have to. Whiners need to be told to kick rocks more frequently.

Now let's get the Red Tails some recognition!! I wish the "Commanders" were called the "Red Tails" honoring the Tuskegee Airmen. A man can dream.
That's not a bad idea!

But as far as the Red Tails getting some recognition, the Air Force Academy has already included the Tuskegee Airmen as part of this tribute series, according to the linked article.

That’s great. I still wish the Washington team would have named themselves the Red Tails. I still find the Commanders a silly name that just doesn’t sound right.

the actual uniform and helmet.

Id say cheerforce but.. up until 1956 it was Army Air Force lol.

PS Army's Uniforms are pretty slick too. I usually really enjoy what have picked to honor the different units, the 1st Armored Division one's last year were cool, a few years before that the Big Red One's were badass too.

How dare they honor those brave men who fought against Japan in WW2!
👍 I think those are nice unis

I like this Helmet from Richland High School. Home of the Bombers !! Tri Cities Washington . There's some history as they worked on the atomic bombs nearby at Hanford nuclear reservation during the war.
