Attyla, can we just become best friends and share our love for Abbrederis together? I'm just so in love with that guy. Last player I felt so strongly about (though even more so) was RW, which is why I'm here ironically. Must be something in Buckyland.

I don't have opinions on the 1st or 2nd round other than my sincere hope they go OL and WR with the picks.

But I am intrigued by the thought of DT Kelcy Quarles as a possible mid round pick.

I think Jordan Matthews is going to be a great player with the right team. Chip on his shoulder, great bloodlines and checks all the boxes you want athletically with the requisite size we need opposite Percy. Him and Allen Robinson are my two most wanted prospects for us to take.

DE/OLB- Marcus Smith, Louisville has a Leo look to him. The team appears to have shown some interest in him. Think his range starts @about pick #64 or later.

Am starting to be curious about Allen Robinson and several other WRs already mentioned here Beckham, Moncrief, Landry, Janis, and Enunwa. I suspect the team may acquire more than 1 WR this draft.

There are mock drafts that have him in the mid-teens. But, he doesn't even appear in some 1st round mocks. If he's there at #32... per the OP topic, I feel confident that he would prove to be a great pick.
I'm not reacting to Allen signing with the Bears, either. I'm think the Hawks are going to be just fine on the D line. But, Ealy is an amazing talent and would be a great addition.

A few players beyond the 1st round that intrigue me, but I wouldn't be necessarily confident about (since many are adding "intriguing" prospects):
I like Jay Bromley (as already mentioned in this thread. When a player gets "grit" attached to his name, those are the kinds of players PC is looking for)
Ronald Powell (Hey, Ty Powell won me the draft contest last year. So, gotta go with another Powell. But, seriously... isn't there a connection to PC? Tried to recruit him at USC?)
Shaquil Barrett - OLB - Colorado St.
Victor Hampton https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M94uFvKn2MQ + https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IHD--w46WmE
Dri Archer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uX4IAY3d2io Yeah, he's 5'-6". Not afraid to run right at Kahlil Mack. Speed Kills. Elusive, tough runner. I think he's being projected more as a WR/KR specialist.
Bruce Ellington, Jared Abbrederis, Brandon Coleman
John Brown, Pittsburg St. Gorillas. Inspired player

I like the idea of drafting Dri Archer or DeAnthony Thomas as a punt returner, but I don't know if we can afford to use a pick on a return man given the needs for a big WR, OT, DL, LB, and CB. Maybe use one of the Fifth Round picks on one of them?

wenhawk named the player that has me intrigued, North Carolina's DE Kareem Martin 6' 6" 265. Plays the run, as well as the pass, very quick closing burst, athletic and well read young man. Finished the season with double digit sacks. Should be available in the second round.

With all due respect I was high on Robinson at the start of the season and was posting it in mid October.

Looking at replacements for Rice, I like Allen Robinson, though if he really is 6,3" he looks a bit bulkier than the 205-210 advertised. He's probably 6,2", not that it matters.

Powell also played for Quinn.

Powell is intriguing for sure, early last season I thought he would get a day 2 grade. However, I don't know what he would bring to the team that Irvin doesn't already. If he's available on day 3, sure.

Every time I read one of these posts I say "yeah, that guy, yeah him too". I think i've drafted about 40 players so far.

I like the James at right tackle idea. Abbredaris played as a senior with a QB who couldn't throw the ball so is better
than his last year at Wisc. looked. He's not talked up as much his talent level would suggest.
I really like Paul Richardson. He's kinda skinny but can run like Forrest Gump, y'know, like the wind.

I also second Kevin Norwood as a 6-7 round or FA.

Weird, A-Rob didn't get much love from the peanut gallery earlier this season. PSU is my adopted 2nd favorite college team, and I've seen just about every game he's played. He's the real deal and still improving IMO. Much more dynamic after the catch than he gets credit for. Still body catches some, but shows very good hands when he doesn't.

I'm kind of surprised though that Kearly likes him. Just doesn't seem like the type of player he typically goes for.

Besides that, give me some Irish Chocolate!

I agree with Xavier, he is quick, strong and has great feet. I would love to see the Hawks pick him up as a rookie starting left guard. He will be dominant player on the line both in the pass protection and the run game. I think he is a low second round pick and I would like to see us move back just a bit and pick him up while adding a 4th or 5th rounder.

I'm really liking Philip Gaines CB Rice. I feel like he would be a stud for us.

I like him very much as well. Tested extremely well to boot. Would expect him to be highly graded by Seattle.

One thing he'll have to really improve on is his physicality. He doesn't really stick his nose into contact at all. Plays a lot of press and is a very good cover corner.

You can see that here in his tape against MSU.

Contrast that to Dontae Johnson (NCSt). He is bigger and a bit longer. He doesn't appear to be asked to do a lot of press, and it appears that's the defense they run out there. But he really is physical and has no problem taking on pulling linemen.

One late round DB I like is Dontae Johnson.

Funny. Got this in just before I got the edit/link to Johnson. He's my favorite day 3 option. Fits in with our physical style perfectly. And has the requisite length Seattle covets
