I'll lay off predicting anything since when I do, it turns out the opposite. I do want to say that while the Jets DL is strong, their pass defense has been horrendous at best. The Seahawks have improved that aspect of their game. The pass offense for the most part has been very good. So hopefully, Baldwin and gang have a great showing this weekend.

Would love to be wrong here, but expecting a similar outcome to the Rams game with slightly more points.

My gut has told me all along this is a loss. But its usually when I doubt the Seahawks that they prove me wrong, and when I am overconfident they humble me. Ignoring my gut and looking at it logically, it's conceivable (or laughable) that Wilson and Bevell realize the threat the Jets d-line poses and run a quick passing offense. The Jets defense is 32nd in completion percentage allowed, so this strategy should work.

Nothing would surprise me in this game. So I'm going to remain cautiously optimistic and say Hawks win 16-12.

Point predictions all around are too high.

I'll go Seahawks with the assumption Boykin plays and he does just enough at the end of the game, a la Russ, to lead the Seahawks to a 10-6 victory.

Well, they scored 20+ in a win, so I figure that I should give them the benefit of the doubt this week.

I'm sure Russ is playing because he's going to harp on everyone until they send him out there. Normally, I'd predict a loss because 10am, top-five DL, etc., but I trust that they'll figure it out. If the OL run blocks properly and the defense locks down Fitzpatrick, they have the chance to put up a ton of points because Revis is D-O-N-E done and the back of their defense is whatever.

For those fearing a loss it looks as if Decker will be out of the game as well as their punt/kick return specialist. Decker made his injured shoulder worse playing last week and missed practice today and is having a MRI tomorrow to evaluate the damage. Add in Brandon Marshall is hurt I just don't see their offense having much success on Sunday.

If both Decker and Marshall are hurt, I don't see the Jets putting up a lot of points. This going to be a low scoring affair. If Boykins does play, I expect safe play calling and the defense continues being stout. If this all happens, then:

I'm going with a Hawk victory here. Wilson will play hobbled but a hurt Wilson is still better than many NFL starters. I love the way they finally implemented Graham and that continues Sunday. They'll need a quicker passing attack scheme too.

C-Mike has another big game, setting up the Hawks receivers for 6+ explosive plays against a weak, getting-weaker through injury, Jets secondary. Hawks stuff their run game, creating yet more problems for the already-struggling Fanspastic and his vulnerable receiving corps.

Nice summary, but Hawks win 20-10. #3 plays, and it's all good.

And I think it's actually spelled Fitzpastic, fwiw.

my sons first football game so you know I hope they win.

Russell Plays. The O-line builds off of last week. Ifedi comes back. Doug Baldwin blows up Revis County.

The defense plays lights out and gets a defensive TD. Jets score some garbage points.

I like our chances because of our defense. Fitzpatrick has not fared well against us and our run D will shut down Forte. I don't think we will score much against their D line as I think we will struggle to run and Russ is clearly hobbled. Tough game to call but if our d gets some turnovers I think we win.
I'll go 13-9 Seahawks.

10AM east coast game

Dominate DL

Coming off a major letdown and uncharacteristic game

Starting QB with a sprained Ankle and Knee and inexperienced backup.

#1 & 3 RB injured
#2 WR injured
An OL that has struggled in 2 of 3 games and 2 for 2 against good DL's

At this point I am surprised that the Hawks are 2.5 point favorites to win.

I can't stand picking against my team only to have them pull one off, why not just pick the Seahawks every time.

My heart says go with the Hawks, my brain says go with the Jets. Sometime you have to go with what your heart says.

Hawks 16-15. I'm predicting 8 FG's in this nail bitter.

RTD 2-1

I've had a good read on weeks 1, 2, and 3. This week? no idea.

What Fitzpatrick are we gonna get?
How healthy will Wilson be? Ifedi? Lockett

I'll go ahead and make a 20-17 seahawks in pete I trust pick, but I don't feel good about it.

Even with a hobbled Russ or with Boykin, I believe the D will hold them to 13 points or less. The offense does just enough to win this one after a heartburn-inducing, maddening game...

I think this will be more lopsided if we get a strong run game going, regardless of who is handing the ball off to Michael Sr...

No Eric Decker at practice again #nyj

Decker's out. No way he plays after making his shoulder worse in last weeks game. Its speedy shifty receiver and TE's that gives us trouble. Jets have none.

I wonder if Sherman does some shadowing this week given he can match up physically with marshall and they don't have another big threat to us in the passing game
