Had the nerve to talk shit about Norton and dude turns around and releases this product of a defense.
Norton wasn't that bad too be honest as he didn't have as much talent to work with. Norton did become too predictable but at least he had his players ready to play a proper base defense.

They'd improve as the year went on, too. That's an indicator of quality coaching. KNJ was a good coach who hit the Peter Principle at DC. He's one of the best LB coaches in the world.

If not for Matt Prater inexplicably missing two fairly easy kicks, they lose today while giving up another day of ridiculously easy runs. Clint Hurtt has no business being a DC at the college or NFL level. He is a positional coach. I am honestly terrified that Pete retains his staff because they went out with a win today.

PC choosing DCs the same way he builds the defense, outside-in.

1st: DB Coach -> DC, Richard
2nd: LB Coach -> DC, KNJ
3rd DL Coach -> DC, Hurtt

Who's the DB coach now? He's at the top of the list in the next cycle of the "promote to DC" system.
Yikes that's an awful list...
