Hello Hawks
A small group of us are over from the UK for the Vikings and 49ers games. We have sorted our plans for the Vikings game. Moving on to the 49ers, flights booked to SF, any advice on the following will be appreciated:

1) Are there any areas of their stadium we should avoid in terms of safety, is it ok to wear Seahawks clothing etc?
2) Is there an area of the stadium Seahawks fans populate?
3) Are there any bars near the stadium or in SF that Seahawks fans meet up?
4) Any advice on good areas to stay in SF appreciated or any to avoid, we are there for 6 days.
5) What are the best touristy things to do, obviously look at a bridge and visit Alcatraz, any other recommendations?
6) Is there any chance of any college football in that area to watch, looking at fixtures early December? I couldn’t find anything arround SF

Any advice will be much appreciated, we look forward to being loud and giving the team all the support we can, and hopefully meeting up with lots of 12’s at the game.
Thanks

1) You should be fine. There will likely be lots of Seahawks fans there. 49ers won't be playing for anything. Don't be a belligerent drunk or engage belligerent drunks and you will be ok
2) All of it likely for that game
3) No idea
4) The stadium is in Santa Clara which is a fair ways away from San Francisco. There are fan buses that leave from Fishermans wharf and Market street down town area. You would need to pre book. If you want to stay close to the stadium, you are going to be a long ways from the tourist areas. I would recommend staying in the Fishermans wharf area personally. Avoid the Tenderloin area.
5) Fishermans wharf, ride a cable car, China town, Golden Gate, Lombard Street, Alcatraz (might want to book tickets ahead) , Market Street down town is good for shopping
6) End of Season. Into bowl games late December and January
