Wow, that's all they got for Harvin???? Not all of the details are out but what I know at this very second John screwed the pooch with this trade, and I'm a huge JS fan. Should have made the Jets take Bevell as a condition of getting Harvin. Still have the huge "black hole" in Bevell, should have ditched that turd first.

For those wringing their hands for Tate, I'm not saying the rumors about him and Wilson's wife are true, but the FO acted in such a way that made me think they believed the rumors. They lowballed his ass and did not make a counter offer when given the chance, even though they knew full well how valuable he was to our team.

It's very foolish to speculate about such an unfounded rumor that has been explicitly denied. Nothing the FO has done has anything to do with that stupid rumor. Period.

That was one of my first thoughts as well.

Maybe this is the real reason we let Tate go? Knowing he and Harvin couldn't get along, so they chose to keep Harvin? If that's the only reason, that would suck.
