Houston has promoted their offensive coordinator, Major Applewhite (ex-Texas QB) to head coach.

Lane Kiffen can't stay out of a controversy, it is reported that he had the job initially and then boom he doesn't.

Latest rumor is that Kiffin is in the running for the HC spot at FAU.

Edit: and now that deal appears to be dead, too.

Misread it as Kiffin getting the HC job at FAMU. Now, THAT would be something.

UConn fired head coach Bob Diaco on Monday. Today, they re-hired former coach Randy Edsall. Edsall coached the Huskies from 1999 to 2010 before leaving to coach Maryland, where he was fired in the middle of last season.

Never a fan of the U sports but very grateful as a coach and father of kids who want to go there that this guy and this type of narrative are being eradicated.
