I keep hearing about Metcalf and now a lot about Barton

Which is great, but I am not hearing much about Collier.

Those of you with more time on your hands / more time devoted to Seahawks offseason football - what are you reading / hearing / seeing / thinking?

Some input - is this looking like a good pick so far?

Pete is pretty hesitant to integrate rookies with starters in the 1st week of camp.

Hard to evaluate O-Line & D-Line in a practice setting.

You will have to wait until the pre-season games to see what he has.

I remember Frank Clark's first pre-season, he played out of his mind and everyone knew he was going to be a player.

I'm not expecting him to flash quite like that, but he should play a lot, and flash some.

Today was the first day in pads. You can't really evaluate DL without contact.

Good point. Somehow I failed to take that into account

Thanks!

If you haven't listened to Ken Norton's press conference from Day 4, at 1:45 into the interview, he's asked about Collier. The answer is brief, but quite positive.

Pads will help, but so will time, coaching, and game-speed.

Now we really need to see what Metcalf can do there.

Man that would be absolutely brutal to lose a guy when we are already iffy on the D Line. Fingers crossed. In addition, he needs to be healthy so we don't have to hear the front office bashers talk about how "crappy" of a pick he was, because they couldn't predict the future. :?

Nuts!

First Reed, then it appears Naz Jones may have a leg injury, now this.

It is going to be critically important for Rasheem Green, Jefferson, Ansah, Marsh and Martin to step up their games.

Jeez, starting to look like picking in the first round is our own Seahawks version of the Madden curse.

Ankle. Walked off on his own initially. Hopefully nothing long-term. We probably won’t know more until Thursday.

It'll be the dreaded high ankle sprain--6-8 weeks, right?
