I don't know if I'd want a Jags pick. Their first rounders seem to all be jinxed

That's got to be the worst way to get an injury. A week after getting drafted.

Ehh, it's MUCH, MUCH better than getting an injury a week before getting drafted. It sucks wildly, but could be much worse.

Also confirmed that he had NOT signed a contract

Supposedly a deal that if he gets injured they negotiate in good faith. This was signed

I am amazed that in today's environment where guys can sign so quickly he wasn't under contract.

Yeah, before even stepping into the facility every rookie signs a contract saying that if they get injured in affiliation with the team their same contract is guaranteed. With the rookie wage scale in the CBA there's not even really wiggle room here. He's totally protected.

It sucks for sure, but definitely could be worse for him.

You can take a mulligan unlike Fowler and the Jaguars.

Feel nothing but sympathy for the team and Dante. Awful news.

Hope he recovers and is good to go next season.
