Before that he was 3-2 with those 2 losses to the Giants. Meets Seahawks in that infamous Super Bowl and was(was because he’s retired now) 4-1 including that game. Or was it Bevell that restarted it?

Thats the thing that will stick with Seahawk fans. Not only that horrible play calling by Bevell and maybe Pete, but oh, if it wasn’t for Seahawks offensive play calling incompetence, nobody would be saying “Brady isn’t the G.O.A.T.” “Brady is just on par with Montana and Marino.” “He’s slightly above Peyton Manning.”

We got 8 more years of TV networks on his jock and maybe openly slurping it on air and I blame the Seahawks for that.

It absolutely did. Leading up to SB 49 a TON of comparisons of RW and PC stat wise were being made to Tom Brady Belichick. The narrative was being built, PC and RW were going to be the next dynasty in the NFL. Because if Tom Brady lost, his last 3 trips to the SB would have been all losses. And to top it off PC and RW would have repeated and been the only team to repeat since the Patriots. But it obviously did not work out that way, and Tom Brady added what he needed to be the unquestionable GOAT (as well as Belichick).

As for "the play" Bevell, PC and RW are ALL at fault in their own ways for how it played out. RW could have made a better pass and/or taken a different one or even changed the play. Bevell made the call, PC ultimately approved it (which IMO was being "cute") SB on the line you just got there on the back of Beast Mode top 3 RB in the NFL and just completed a HUGE run to get to the 1 to begin with. You have a top 3/5 QB in the NFL, you also have Baldwin and I believe Tate and Percy? All very proven WRs in the NFL. but nah nah let's line up in an obvious passing play and let Lockette be our guy....no one will see that shit coming, couldn't possibly backfire on you.
