Better than Largent? Shoot, I'd settle for 70 percent of what Largent did. And that would be a pretty damn good career.

There were moments where Russell and Baldwin were unstoppable.

I see it as a 3 way tie for 2nd behind Largent. That in no way takes anything away from Baldwin who as an undrafted free agent became one of the best slot receivers ever. To me the stats show three fantastic careers.

Now lets combine DJack's & Doug's stats together and compare with Largent.

#80 Largent_200_819_13089_100

With more games and more receptions they almost caught him.

See, that right there is just crazy for Largent. He is such a rare player. What a joy to watch!

Even though teams tried to scheme him out, he just was always open. Doug says the same thing. :2thumbs:

As it stands now I would go with Largent #1, Baldwin #2, and DK Metcalf at #3. I'd then probably put Galloway in at #4 and Darrell Jackson would round out my top 5.

Largent, Baldwin, Engram, Blades, then Jackson as top 5.

Galloway wasn't here long enough to be considered a Franchise contributor really, he showed promise then Ego and gone. Metcalf could be a player that never takes a snap at this point so to be rated over Koren Robinson who at least played in the regular season or Darryl Green, Nate Burleson, Sam McCullum, or Paul Skansi is discrediting their contributions.

I hope Metcalf blows all of them out of the water, but as of today that's would be my list.

Going by the stats, Lockett is on a similar path.

196 receptions for 15 TDs in doug's first 4 seasons, locket 194/19.

Well, that's an interesting prophecy to make before DK has even caught a pass. Potential is only that until he does something on the field. (which I think he will, barring injury, and look forward to it). Right now, however, Chris Durham has a better Seahawk resume than Mecalf.

Where do you put Blades?

I feel DK will actually finish #1 on the list but had I posted that Im sure Id get in trouble. Did the same with Wilson the day he was drafted and received a vacation. Turns out I was totally right with Russ. ;)
Strange how you have no proof of that, but you kept quotes of others' thoughts on Russ.

Maybe you felt it would conflict with your need to bring it up a 1000 times. It's much more likely that you're just full of crap though.

All respect to Daryl Turner, Sam McCollum, Paul Skansi, Brian Blades, Tommy Kane, Mike Pritchard, Joey Galloway, Darrell Jackson, Koren Robinson, Bobby Engran, Golden Tate and the rest of the good WRs we've had over the years, I would take DB over every one of them.

That's all. Respect to DB for being all and more we could have ever asked of him.

You forgot Sidney Rice.
