I remember Vance Walker of the Falcons be touted as a possible option. What happened to him?

He's still available he's only 25, has 9 starts and 5 sacks in the last two seasons. I don't know much but it looks as though he has made progression and he might come cheap enough that we could cut him if Suggs, Howard, and a Rookie are better.

I hope Branch comes back. It would be good to keep some continuity and then add depth or potential replacement through the draft.

Sedrick Ellis kind of intrigues me. He's younger than Branch and has more pass rush ability.

1. Richard Seymore - would be a nice 1-2 signing. Draft his replacement this year in round 2. Seymour can play end or tackle and has superbowl experience. I'm guessing he wants too much $.
2. Alan Branch - knows the system however I don't feel gives us enough of an inside pass rush.
3. Sedrick Ellis - Wasn't he drafted in the top 10??? Has not even come close to living up to that. 0 sacks last season. Don't want him!!
4. Dwan Edwards - non stop motor but under sized. Reminds me of Jason Jones but not as good as Jones. Will provide a pass rush but poor against the run. Good situational pick up and could get him at a decent price.
5. Abrayu Franklin - NO!!!
6. Shaun Cody - Another NO!!!
7. Amobi Okoye - if the price is right I'd tak take him. Young and has proven he can at least provide an inside pass rush.

Best scenario in my opinion would be pick up Okoye. Then use the #2 draft pick on a WIL LB to replace Leroy Hill.

Red and our 2nd for Suh.

Would never happen, but thought I'd :stirthepot:

I'd do Red, our 2nd and next year's 1st for Suh in a nano-second. Next year's 1st would be the 32nd pick if that trade happened anyway...

I am pretty nervous about depth at DT. I'm really hoping we hear about a signing soon. At this point I'd be 100% on board with bringing Branch back
