I heard again today that when asked after halftime, Pete said the reason they didn't get much pressure on Clausen was because "they were feeling them out." Sigh.

Really?

Not that I am anyone to question Pete but why does this team feel the need to "feel out their opponents" in the first half? Please don't mistake this for sour grapes, I am as giddy as any 12 right now for yet another dominating win on the road but please help me understand the "feeling them out" angle?

Isn't that what film study is for the week leading up to the game?

I'm not sure you can read too much into a coaches pregame or halftime comments. They know those are public and the other team has access to them so they aren't likely to give you true insight into the thinking on strategy. My question would be, did we bring more pressure in the second half? If not, we just played our game, rush four most of the time and play good coverage, then the comments have no merit.

One of the areas that the Ravens have been above average all year has been offensive line play.

It wss the right philosophy for clausen by far.

Keep them in front and make them sustain drives.

Vs Arizona in the playoffs, can we please have a good first half?

Please?
