Well, Pete did seem to neuter him mid-season. Instead of letting him be the QB he's capable of.
And the players on this offense have to be pretty frustrated with how different the games were called on the offensive side of the ball. All after averaging over 34 for most of the first half of the season. They have the QB and talent on offense to be very very good. But for some reason, it became overly cautious, fear based play calling. Take what the defense gives you, adjust and get it done. They almost seemed to refuse to adjust to what a defense was giving them. That's on coaching as much as anything. And Russ seemed to lose his confidence at times and/or had the "don't turn the ball over" crap in his head from Pete over and over again. Not playing to the strength of your QB is a waste.

A TOTAL waste. There is still time to win superbowls, but it's now or never. Pete has to evolve or retire.

There will be no more sb wins with mahomes and Josh playing. Teams also have figured Wilson out so making payoffs will be extremely difficult.

??? They have made the playoffs all but one season w/Wilson. No, it won't be extremely difficult at all.
The Hawks making the playoffs is no shocker. Just more stuff being made up that doesn't exist.....

Just for research purposes (Given the salary cap was lower 10 years ago, but...)

When Brees won the Superbowl, he was making $10 million a year.

When Rodgers won the Super Bowl he was making just over $10 million a year

Wilson was on his rookie deal.

Manning was making $14 million in his SB win with the Colts and $30 million with the Broncos.

Tom Brady averaged under $20 million in his years with the Patriots until after 2016.

Since the big money, $30+ million deals, only Brady and Manning from your list have won a SuperBowl. QB contracts have absolutely exploded over the last 10 years. $10 million a year for a QB was the top of the market just 10 years ago when Wilson was about to come into the league. And we havent seen much success with teams who pay top of the market money for a QB winning a SuperBowl outside of Brady this year and Manning at the end of his career.
