I don't care what position Clark plays as long as he can get after the QB in obvious passing situations. He does that, he's easily worth the draft pick.

THIS IS WRONG. THEY AMMENDED IT ON TWITTER AND HAVE CHANGED THE WEBSITE

A SLB is on the field for 50% of the time TOPS.

A DE is almost 100%.

If Clark was a LB that means his talent is a bust as much as Irvin, Thank god You are all wrong.

Honestly we should Delete this thread.
I wasn't a fan of the Irvin pick but i have to defend it from being called a bust.

No Irvin did not become a DE, and no it was not very smart for Pete/John to think a college DE with zero moves would make it as a DE in the NFL. However, they drafted a guy who at least had the physicals and the experience (at safety) to be used in a different role when it became clear he would not be a DE.

Switching up Clark's role would not make him a bust, it would simply mean the Hawks think using him differently would allow them to get the best 11 men on the field more often.

Bruce Irvin signed a 4 year, $37,000,000 contract with the Oakland Raiders, including $19,000,000 guaranteed, and an average annual salary of $9,250,000.

Not bad for a bust.

See the other thread. This is wrong he isnt a linebacker. Stop perpetuating GARBAGE OPINIONS, this all started because of fans who have a miniscule knowledge and understanding of the roster and what they look for in players.

Every knowledgeable poster on this forum and other KEARLY MCGRUFF ect have all said this was not the case and that he is a LEO.

I dont get why its so hard to figure out. Its as if noobs read hawkbloggers mindless drivel and think they are experts.

how about you hop OFF that entitlement train and come back down to earth... People have a opinions and when you see something like what posted on the MAIN SEAHAWKS WEBSITE that lends itself to the contrary, then sparking educated arguments is what this site is for? geeeesh, have a fight with the significant other last night?

I don't get the hostility... and frankly this entitlement attitude needs to act like a tree and SCREW OFF..

I mean, there wouldn't be an hostility if you just read the other thread. Titan1313 doesn't have the time, nor should he have to, explain things twice to us. God gave us 2 eyes and 9 fingers for a reason; to sit back and learn from titan1313.

Sarcasm is wasted on the unenlightened Pe. Just sayin'

Clark is long........linebacker he would be deflectin balls and causing turnovers....sack or three along with some Nascar.

Just wanted to say, I'm super excited to see Clark at linebacker. Should be great!

Awesome that Titan is falling so hard for the seahawks disinformation.

This is just one more thing your wrong about bro. There's no way there converting him to LB full time and I seriously doubt he plays SLB much at all this season.

"He can do it but he’s not a SAM linebacker in our system," Schneider said at the owners meetings. "Bruce is so athletic, he’s freaky athletic. Jumps over people."

"Frank Clark is going to really help us," Carroll said at the owners meetings. "We think Frank is going to be a premier rusher. He showed that last year. And so losing Bruce as an outside guy on the right side really opens up the opportunity for Frank to step up and to do some good things for us. But there may not be one guy that we have to load up with at the Sam 'backer spot and also play [defensive end]. Mike Morgan did really well for us when he played there last year at the Sam spot, but he’s not going to be the third-down rusher. So it’s going to be a combination of guys playing."

still not sure what this thread, this overreaction is all about

btw its nice outside, you guys should go there sometime

It wasn't an overreaction, the only overreactions are from the guys screaming overreaction ironically. It was started because it keeps coming up in the media. The intention was to discuss his evolving role and how they will use him in an attempt to keep him on the field more. All kinds of stupid in this thread.

We discussed this before as it was being rumored but not Rotoworld is reporting the team has made it official if that means much. Still not a fan of it because Clark was already a monster on the D-line and this experiment is a gamble. He is so talented that he will probably be fine wherever he is but still not sure I love it. I could be talked into it though.

sure, nice cop-out. you starting this thread was an overreaction. and now you are overly defensive, yet another overreaction

we already knew clark was going to take more rush snaps from the edge now that irvin's gone. the real question is how many and from what stance

Well bro, I guess the other thing I was wrong about was the ability of others to detect sarcasm.

Some people can't read sarcasm.
Others cannot deliver it for shit.

Of course, I don't mean you, J.
