It’s more of a disappointment. I don’t think anyone expected a deep run, elite 8 is a notable season. This team felt like it was potentially competitive for a title when they played their best.Getting blown out tonight but all is not lost. IMO the Zags/UCLA last 12 seconds was one of the two greatest game finishes in NCAA Tourney history, and maybe THE best.
You watch a team religiously it gets personal. I'm like that with the Seahawks too. I always feel like every game is winnable. It's been a different sort of year in every respect, and in all respects. It’s more of a disappointment. I don’t think anyone expected a deep run, elite 8 is a notable season. This team felt like it was potentially competitive for a title when they played their best.
Few didn’t have the gameplan today, our shooters didn’t have aim. This one hurt because they played like our lowest expectations on the largest stage.
This didnt hurt like 2017, but still it felt winnable.
I think that's just because of how far out guys like Curry, Harden, and Lilliard are taking their shots. If he can replicate their body of work, then, he'll be a force to be reckoned with.I think Smith will be back --- and maybe Watson. I'm sure Strawther will declare. The dude has talent but just never was a consistent scorer. I actually think he'll be a better NBA player than college since nobody contests 3-pointers in the NBA.
