Well Pete got fired from the Jets and turned out alright. Bellicheck too.

Seattle is probably a decent spot because there is some talent but coaches want Hebert and it’s not close. Chargers will get the best candidate or possibly the Bears with their draft position. Doesn’t mean we can’t get the perfect fit for this team tho
Bears are keeping their coach

Chargers may have Herbert.

But they also have Spanos.

It's more important who you report to than who reports to you.

Spanos is a POS, and I'd like to think an in demand coach will recognize this when making a decision.

I feel great for an HC to draft a QB, install your scheme, translate current skills to the field and draft based on your own philosophy and would, This would be any coaches dream as so many opportunities. You don’t have to gut the entire roster like how Pete had to do and still make it competitive.

Is a team with the prospect of being sold at anytime in the future 'attractive' for a new coach?

I think it is certainly an attractive proposition, fanbase, market etc is great. However the QB situation is a bit murky and following someone so successful isn't ideal.

Personally would like a Ben Johnson type HC.
