Maybe give up on it. Start throwing some quick short passes that act as runs. Instead of trying to run the ball to set up the play action, because teams have been onto it, and when the hawks had beast mode and an O-Line that could run block...that worked, but now it doesn't. Adapt or die.... Use passes to set up the run game lol.

Short passing game, quick passes etc. would be a lot more productive for this team imo. They are long bomb happy, it's just too low percentage.

The run game was working before we abandoned it. Lacy started getting chunks and then Rawls did too. Bevell just quit calling runs. Then the line started getting penalties which forced the pass.....shit snowballed from there.

Maybe the Darrell Bevell could utilize Tre Madden more then 8 plays in the game to open holes, for our running backs. 2 tightend sets are nice but if they want to pound the ball like they used to, that should be looked at. The Seahawks picked up a few fullbacks when we moved on from Big Will. The Seahawks miss that extra body to punch a hole in defense. Bevell wants more weapons on the field but can't design a play to make them work. Sadly, this won't change, i hope i'm wrong.
