He gets rid of the ball so quickly. The Niners are throwing everything at him. He also has a great line. The niners' DBs like to hold a lot. That being said they play man way better than us

I'm noticing that. If the Seahawks would have played like that in Dallas there would have been multiple flags every single play.

He also seems calmer (compared to Geno) in the pocket when pressured.

Hurts is clearly ineffective if you take away the running lanes and play coverage. Maybe other teams can implement such a strategy.

He's calm because his o-line is excellent. All of his pressure comes late from coverage being tight. If he got pressured early, he'd be terrible, just like Purdy and most QBs not named Lamar or Mahomes

49ers have stopped Hurts from running as much and that vexes him.

Hurts plays a lot like your last QB does.

Tons of similarities. If the game limited how many out of pocket attempts a QB could make, neither would last very long in the league.

This time, the Niners finally figured out how to limit such a QB.

Most QBs can't handle elite pressure from 4 that's consistent, especially if it's interior.

Meanwhile guys like Hurts (and Wilson) have an ability to do less with more time.....Lamar too.

His O-line held like a fight at a hockey game all night long. The difference in the game was the refs let them play, kinda like an NFL game 15 years ago. Chippy, hard hitting, backyard brawl. Wish we could see more like it.
