I know we all love our Beastquake, but IMO this just might be the greatest run in Hawk's history.

The sheer terror, the sheer joy, the way Ryan ran like he was stealing a loaf of bread running from the cops only to fumble and get destroyed............it's a piece of art that belongs in the Smithsonian.

I love you Jon Ryan, god speed.

A great Canadian right there unlike many of the other celebrities we have sent south. He will find a job. Ryan was a big key to our success over the years and I am glad he got a ring to remember his time here. Good luck on your next team!

Canada has sent many a solid Canadian celebrity down south over the years. Leslie Nielson, Michael J Fox, Alex Trebek, John Candy, Eugene Levy, Wayne Gretzky. I always say, Canada is a great place to be from.

Anyway, Ryan adds to a list of great Canadians to have plied their trade in the US and he will always be a Seahawk no matter where he ends up.

Mad respect and thanks for the memories.

True but I always think Nickleback and Beiber...

Yes, we are definitely better at sending comedians to the US than musical acts. Jon Ryan is no exception.

The best of Jon Ryan: Interviews, film breakdown, and more

By ESPN Staff

August 20, 2018 at 1:52 pm

Monday brought an end to Jon Ryan's 10-year career with the Seahawks. (AP)

Jon Ryan has played his last game as a member of the Seahawks.

The veteran punter announced the end of his 10-year tenure with the team Monday morning. The team confirmed the news later that afternoon, announcing the release of Ryan and kicker Jason Myers.

Jon Ryan: ‘I’m weird in a totally normal way’ (LISTEN)

Jon Ryan and then-Seahawks kicker Steven Hauschka were battling to be the less weird of the special-teams duo. Ryan may not have helped his case when he dropped this Yogi Berra-esque gem while talking to 710 ESPN Seattle’s Bob, Groz and Tom, however: “I think I’m weird in a totally normal way. You know, he’s weird in a weird way.”

Jon Ryan breaks down the special teams fake that started Seattle’s NFC Championship comeback (LISTEN)

I think we all knew that one way or the other, this was going to happen.

Does not soften the blow however.

Would be awesome to see him end up back with Steven H.

Godspeed Jon, godspeed.

He was a great Seahawk and definitely my favorite punter ever both for his play on the field and his personality off the field.

He'll always be a Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawk. :irishdrinkers:
