Kearney tripped on last play of game...

Re-watching highlights and slowed down a few plays.

Two stand out to me. The first is the last play where it appeared Kearse fell down. After rewatching I believe he was tripped... Though the NFL would probably call it incidental contact. The incidental contact call is garbage... Too much room for interpretation IMO.

The other play was the first down run by the large nosed whiner. I saw before that lane was held but I think max was held as well...

Anyway, just a few observations that I didn't catch the first time around.

Game can't end on a defensive penalty. We'd have had the ball at the spot of the foul and 1 play regardless.

Not saying it was DPI at all, but that's the only hope we had at that point.

Haha, still find this funny. Is that #32 for GB? He's getting shoved out of play and he's still pathetically reaching up for ball, I don't know why, just makes me chuckle. :lol:

I wish that video was just destroyed............ and replaced with Russell being hit WAY AFTER he threw that pass. Nobody ever paid attention to that part of the "Fail Mary".

Even if the ball was caught, it was a 50 yard hustle and snap to spike with 9 seconds left. Wilson tanked his stats for nothing. Throwing over the middle of the field was a waste in that situation. Working the sideline, intermediate or deep, was the only viable option in that situation.

I'm a rabid Hawks fan and I was at the game, sitting in the 6th row of the endzone and I watched the play unfold in front of my eyes. He wasn't tripped on purpose. That being said, I do believe he would have caught the ball had he not fallen down. I don't think he have scored though, so not sure it mattered all that much either way.
